Chemical Security Services
Chemical Security Services LLC (CSS) was established to assist high risk chemical facilities comply with security requirements mandated by Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS).
CSS is comprised of highly experienced security and emergency management professionals, many of whom previously worked in top government security positions. Also on our team are former DHS officials, including authors of the CFATS regulations, to help companies navigate the security standards, as well as chemical engineers and other industry experts.
We work closely with chemical facilities to review/complete Top Screen questionaires, Vulnerability Security Surveys, Alternative Security Plans, and Site Security Plans. We also provide training, exercises, and drills, as well as pre-inspection support and security audits.
Our security specialists have expertise in risk-based performance standards (RBPS), which DHS requires to address security vulnerabilities. We work closely with facilities to assess security systems and procedures, and develop appropriate and affordable countermeasures to meet government standards.
We also have evaluated security plans submitted to government agencies for approval and have first-hand knowledge of expectations and evaluation processes.
